Reproducible Science with LATEX

This paper proposes a procedure to execute external source codes from LATEX document and include the calculation outputs in resulting Portable Document Format (pdf) file automatically. It integrates programming tools into writing tool facilitate production of reproducible research. In our proposed approach LATEX-based scientific notebook user can easily invoke any language or command-line program when compiling document, while using their favorite editor process. The required setup, new Python package, defined preamble are discussed detail, working examples R, Julia, MatLab reproduce existing research provided illustrate procedure. We also demonstrate how system setting information by invoking shell scripts document.
